Sarah Pearce may seem all charm and innocence, but you don't have to look far to find her cynical heart, cutting observations and sharp wit.
2009 has seen her booked as a featured act for nights across the London circuit and beyond, sharing the bill with comedians including Trevor Lock, Scott Capurro, Patrick Monahan, Brendan Dempsey and Stewart Lee.
She was invited to be part of The Big Comedy Breakfast (Five Pound Fringe) for Edinburgh 09, where she performed a strong 15 minute set every day to sell out audiences. (Apart from two days, when there was a seat empty. We don't like to talk about this.) The show earned a 5* review from Broadway Baby; a piece in which Sarah was described as 'very entertaining' and as someone who 'could go far'.
Her confident, likeable delivery and unique way with words saw her placed in the Semi Finals for 2009's Leicester Square's New Comedian of the year competition.
