“Jake Mills has the potential to be a comic for years to come.” - Liverpool Echo
Since taking part in the Liverpool Comedy Trusts ‘Funny Business’ comedy course, Jake has began to get himself known as one of the freshest new talents coming out of Liverpool.
Jake won the Liverpool Funny Business competition in 2008 and has since gone on to win countless gong shows and play in some of the biggest comedy venues including Rawhide, Capital of Comedy, Comedy Tavern, Frog and Bucket, Comedy Store and Slaughterhouse.
The cheeky scouser, born 5th December 1988, has made a steady progress in a short time, playing on on bills with top acts including Chris Cairns, Neil Fitzmaurice, Justin Moorehouse, Keith Carter, Seymour Mace, Paul Tonkinson, Jason Cook and Steve Royle, to name just a few, and certainly hasn’t looked out of place.
Jake was a finalist in the 2010 Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year competition and is now preparing for his first one man show, “Quaking in their Ugg boots”, which will take place during the Liverpool Comedy Festival in May 2010.
