Finalist Hackney Empire New Act of the Year 2010
"Giacinto has charm has Tuscany has wine" (Kate Copstick, The Scotsman)
"Intelligent, observant and true, the excellent material is delivered in a likeably relaxed way to the audience" (BroadwayBaby)
After performing on the new acts circuit for just over a year, Giacinto Palmieri came to prominence at the Edinburgh Fringe 2009, where his solo show "Italian misfit" was a great success both in terms of audience and critical acclaim (it was described by Kate Copstick as "a lovely, charming, entertaining Fringe experience").
He has now started to be booked for paid headlining jobs and will also take part to the first Nottingham Comedy Festival.
Originally from Italy, he has been living in London for the past eight years. His material stems from this experience and from his endless fascination with the English language.
